The French one, Clemen-TEENAnd it would be the form I'd use, since the name is French to begin with. Also, it is less associated with the song. But I suppose Americans pronounce it Clemen-tyne."But it’s all right now.

CLEM-en-tien (Clemen-tyne; I just always feel like I have to use the same key as the site), all the way. CLEM-en-teen sounds wrong to me, because I associated the name with the little oranges and I've never heard thsoe called clemen-teens. I love the name, btw.

Clemen-tyne. Not because I prefer it but because I'm used to it like that. I think Clemen-teen actually sounds nicer, but I'd never get used to it.ETA: I thought you meant with the stress on the -tine. If it's clemen-tyne with the stress on the CLEM, I like that the best.

I prefer "clem-en-TEEN." But I love "CLEM-en-tine" almost as much and it would be swimming against too strong of a stream here in the U.S. to try the French / British pronunciation.

Clemen-tyne, Clemen-teenAThe A makes all the difference to me. Without an A it's always Clementine (tyne), and with an A it's always Clementina (teena).~Lillian~
