[Opinions] America?
I'm really starting to like the name America. I knew a girl named this in grade school, she was nice. I always thought it would be "funny" because I live in America. I think it's gorgeous though, WDYT? Any MN suggestions? This is for a girl. :).
Also WDYT of Fisherman NN Fisher for a boy, and Cloud for a girl [mostly as a MN]?GO PORTUGAL

Hmm, well America is okay. As long as you don't make it "Americus", for this one's horrible I think! :-P

I think it's very pretty. Some people think the name is trashy, especially if you live in the U.S.A., but I like it. It makes a better middle name though. L'Eau Qui Pleure

Fisher is really cute, though I'd go with just that and not Fisherman.Naming a child America would seem like an almost heinous act of patriotism to me. Nothing wrong with loving your county, but that takes it into a whole new dimension.-- Sarah

America is okay, I don't like country or states names but I don't have anything agaisnt them, they are just nms. I don't like Fisherman at all. I don't think giving occupation names is a good idea.

I think it may be a little odd depending on where you live. I actually LOVE the name. For some strange reason, I like the combos America Sierra or America Sienna. They just popped into my head. A nn could be Amy or Erica.-------------------------------------------------

America is a great name in my opinion. Pays homage to our great nation. I can't think of any MNs off the top of my head. I think it would need to be pretty special to go with America! Maybe another patriotic word, but not quite so obviously patriotic.

I think the name America is yuck. I think place names are bad but if you name a child after the country you live in thats worse, though i could really only see that happening in America.
Fisher is nice, but Fisherman is too much. Cloud is silly~~* BEX *~~Photobucket - Video and Image HostingCoach of 'Bane United'
