I know an adorable little girl whose name is Colette NN Coco. It defiintely works as a NN. Colette isn't really my style, but it's not a bad name either.

Although I can understand how someone else could like it, I personally don't care for Colette. It reminds me of colitis and colic. I also don't care for Coco but I think it's a reasonable nn for Colette and see problem using it as such.
I do like Cosette though. I'm funny like that.

I think that the name Coco is very cute However, I know 7 dogs with that name. So to me, Coco=Dog. Sorry :p

I agree. I think Coco is cute, as long as it's a nn. Colette is another favorite of mine, so I see nothing wrong with Colette, nn Coco.
It's especially appropriate to use Colette (from Nicolette) if your brother's name is Cole (from Nicholas.) Nicola is another pretty option as a full name.
