[Opinions] Maggie?
My husband loves the name Maggie.
What's your favorite longer version of the name Maggie? I'm not a big fan of Margaret, but he assures me that there are several more options.

Personally I prefer just Maggie. I think it's a strong enough name to stand on it's own and it is lovely. Besides Margaret, there is Marguerite or Magnolia.

Marguerite & Maguire are my favourites!Or you could just call her Maggie, which is sort of my preference at the moment. I'd hate to name her Margaret, call her Maggie, and then suddenly have some b!tch / teacher refuse to call her something other than her real name, which I hate. All my other names with nns that I would use have longer names that I love equally, but with this one I'm quite stuck - which is why this name always sort of gets passed over when contemplating names.

Another option for the nickname Maggie that hasn't been mentioned yet (and is one of my favorites) is Marguerite.

I like Maggie on its own actually, but I also like Magdalene and Magdalena.Love is the lord of the house within him and rules all the concerns of his soul- Plato

Other than Margaret, Magdalene & Magdalena come to mind.I'm not fond of either of them, but Margaret isn't too bad. I personally like Maggie on its own :)
