I adore Lucinda and like the idea of someone acutally using Cindy as a nickname for it instead of Lucy. Although I might be more inclined to spell it Cyndi a la Lauper ; )
Cinda is cute though, not sure how well it would work as a full name though. I used to love Cinder as a name though, haha.
Cynthia is nice, but not particularly my style. And it seems like every Cynthia I've ever met has gone by Cindy instead. I find Cynthia without a nickname nicer though.
Other possiblities for Cinda / Cindy as a nickname:
Cindra
Jacinda
Dulcina
Cinara
Hyacinth
Marcinda
Edited to add that I really like Cinda, and Cinda Rae is cute : )
