I like Iris . It is pretty and oldfashioned. There is nothing wrong with a flower name in my opinion. Heather , Lily , Rose , Jasmine , Violet etc are or were popular in USA. Though i may be biased, my own daughter's name is Lilian .

What is your present name BTW? Can you not keep it or an Americanized version of it?
