A couple of notable ones first....
*
Miranda Nicole - This is the name of a co-worker's first baby. We have about 7 or 8 women who are very pregnant at the moment, and this one of the first babies of that bunch. :b Someone commented on hearing the name, 'Where did she get
Miranda?' I didn't know if that meant she thought it was odd or what, but it didn't sound good. :-/ I love it, and I welcome non Madisons and Kaitlyns ANY day. It's not exactly different ENOUGH for me, actually, but anything that isn't
Madison or
Kaitlyn seems too different for most of my co-workers. *sigh* :(
*Terrious
McKenzie: This is the name of a little boy I cared for the other day. I had to check and re-check the spelling of his name and those of his siblings -- Shunte (girl), Davarius,
Tony Jr.,
Antonio,
Antwan, and
Terrence. No comment from me on those, thank you. :) As for Terrious, I mentioned to some of the other nurses that I was curious if it was a combination of Terrific & Wondrous or Terrible & Dangerous. They were in stitches. I thought some of my fellow namenerds might get a kick out of that, too. :b
