[Facts] Few comments
The contemporary Greek pronunciation of some of teh names is as follows (accented syllable in capital letters):* Linos: pron. Lee-NOSS
* Evaggelos: pron. ev-ANG-el-oss (ANG as in ANGst)
* Damalis: pron. THA-ma-liss (THA as in "Thee")
* Elias : A Greek version, Helias (eel - EE - as), also appears in "Lexicon of Greek Personal Names". It is related to Helios ("sun").
* Damani : I have seen no recorded Greek "Damani". The "Lexicon of Greek Personal Names" does include a female name "Damiani" (tha-MYA-ni). My guess as to its meaning is as good as Mike-C's
* Dias : Greek meaning God, a.k.a Zeus , Deus. Pronounced "THEE-as" (as in OE "Thee"). Derived as "Di'auton", meaning "through him"
