[Facts] Re: what do you think about this nic name
"I've often wondered the same thing, since my boss 25 years ago (Greek guy) said, "My baby's gonna be named George Andrew. We'll call him Drew." So what was the point of the George or even the Andrew? Why not just name him Drew?"
******Right. I mean, I can see shortening a name for convenience's sake, like Gia calling her daughter "Izzy" or "Belle", and saving the "Isabelle" for those times when she means serious bizznizz ("Isabelle Rose Wagner! You come in this house RIGHT NOW!") -- but calling a kid by a *completely* different name from the first name he was given makes no sense to me at all. Especially since "Drew" is a cool enough name in its own right, and I'll admit that I was just being goofy about "Trip" before. "Trip" is an okay name in its own right, too.
"And if you're gonna name a kid after a relative, they should be ALIVE and likely to leave you A LOT of money. And some of it better go to the kid who's gotta suffer as "Phineas Clarence Smith IV" for the next 80 years!"
******DAMN straight! :) It's worth risking a visit from the Angel of Death if there's a chance at getting your hands on your wealthy zayde's cash, lemme tell ya! :)
"As for kids, Nan: I certainly erred, because Minpins count. Dogs can be as demanding and restricting as any baby! And dogs and kids have so much in common: kids too, are just children who eat off the floor."
******I kinda figured they had that much in common. So, Daividh, when it's bedtime, do you crate your kids at night? I believe that all kids should be properly crate-trained. :)
