[Opinions] Floy
I was reading a magazine and there was a model named Floy. I've never heard it before, but it really stood out to me. I think it's pretty, but I'm looking for your opinions. Thanks!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Floyd without the D.Sounds really unfortunate to me, honestly. But hey--her twin sister could be Lloy. ;DArray

It reminds me of Floyd, which is nms. Floy is too masculine for a girl (assuming that the model was female).

I've heard it used twice, both on older black ladies. I guess it's kind of a nn for like Flora or Florence. I don't care for any of those names so I can't say I like Floy, also it is dhard to say clearly so it doesn't sound like Florry.
To me it sounds like a cockney person talking about a fly. lolSacred cows make the best burgers.

As Starla said, Floy was originally a pet form of Florence, and it was not uncommon in that role back in the 19th century.

I met a Floy once. I thought I was hearing her name wrong at first, but it was indeed Floy. ;-) She was a lovely woman, sweet, but the name never did much for me (too much like Floyd).
