I'll say
Corinne as "kaw-REEN" if I don't know otherwise, but I've known one (she spelt it
Corine) who said "KAW-reen", with the stress on the first syllable.
Our
Korrine here at BtN --
Cambria -- uses kaw-RINN if I'm not mistaken. I hadn't heard that before I came here, but now I've come across a few people who say it that way so it can't be uncommon.
So, I'd definitely have to ask a
Corinne how she said her name. I think it's pretty however it's said, but the ambiguity might put me off using it for my own child. I'd love to use
Corinna though, which I've only heard kaw-REEN-uh.
