[Opinions] Re: Persephone...

I really like it. It's on my list of favorites. Persy or Sephie would be cute NNs. Maybe Pippa as a NN, too. (well, Phillipa / Philippa have the Ph and P sounds in it, so why not?) I really like Pippa for it, actually.
Persephone Louise
Persephone Adelle
Persephone Clare
Persephone Pandora Penelope (Yes, it's a mouthful, but it's it melodic?) :)
Persephone Delphina
Persephone Sophia
Persephone Ophelia
Persephone Seraphina (What can I say? I like -ph- sounds.)
Persephone Nereida
Or as a MN (which I think is lovely, too)
Margot Persephone
Aurelia Persephone
Viola Persephone
Katherine Persephone
Edith Persephone
Helene Persephone
Nereida Persephone
Persephone Proserpina (hehe)
Any you like?
What are the convulsions of a city in comparison with the insurrections of the soul?
Man is a depth still greater than the people.

I think the nn Sephie is lovely.
I like Persephone Clare and Persephone Pandora (though I probably wouldn't have Penelope as well).
I think the combo Aurelia Persephone sounds very elegant!

I have to agree, I appsolutly adore, this enigmatic, salubrious, and sadly forgotten appelative! I plan to use Persephone when I have conceived a girl in a decade or so. And since I live in Canada, even if Persephone creeps up to the Popularity Charts in America, I doubt that it will ever be used up there. Canadian parents perfer Sara, Jessica, Emily and...CHLOE!!!
I personally think that the name Chloe is atrotious, and I am confused that parents choose this name Greek over Cynthia, Demetria, Ariadne, Athena, and Alexandria which seem better than that hackenyed fad to the moon and back.
Why do you think that Chloe has gotten SOOO popular in Canada and America suddenly? Please help me! I seem "conpuzzled".

Thanks. Glad you like them. :)
I'm all about bringing Greek myth names back to the mainstream. And by mainstream I mean they don't get looked at funny but not popular because that would ruin them for me. :P
