WDYT?? I think it be a bit older than I would want to use, but what are your opinions on Annika?

Not my favorite pet form of Anna, but I do like it.

The only time I have ever even heard of this name is from Pippi Longstocking. I kind of thought it was a made up name. I don't hate it. It's interestind and unusual to me.Britney Tamber

It's OK, but I'm a bit bored with it, to be honest. I know so many people with this name that I've grown very tired of it. It's a very preppy, bright, yet somewhat plain name, IMO, but I guess my impression of the name is heavily influenced by all the Annikas I've known.

Really, really dislike it. Sorry. Can't say why exactly. Just sounds overdone and pretentious I guess. For some reason, this and Jillian are two of my most-disliked names. They both sound fussy and like the parents are trying too hard.
My apologies to anyone with these names. I guess we all have names we just can't like.

It's fine. I immediately think of Pippi Longstocking, as in Tommy and Annika, and I liked her. And it doesn't sound "old" to me, as that Annika wasn't old (but I don't really know how old she was).

I much prefer the German spelling Anneke, but I like the sound of it. It's very cute.
