[Surname] Nasello?
I can't find what this surname means. I know it's Italian and I believe it's mostly centered in Sicily (but I'm not sure).
It's also the Italian name for the Hake fish if that helps.

Perhaps originally a nickname for a person having a "little nose".
Another possibility a place name that exists in Sicily, "Naso" near the city of Messina. This surname could have studied by the german philologist Gerhard Rohlfs who has studied calabrian and sicilian surnames.

Something to do with a nose (naso)? Or perhaps a diminutive of a name like Attanasio.
