I love the name Rosemary but cannot use it because it is the name of Eric’s stepmother and it would cause too many complications. Because of this I’ve been searching for an alternate Rose name. I’m having trouble finding one I like half as much as Rosemary but Rosamund is really growing on me. WDYT? Also, his step-mother goes by the nn Rose 90% of the time. Do you think people would naturally try to shorten Rosamund to Rose or Rosie? If so, do you think this could be avoided by calling her an alternate nn from birth like Rosa? I'd prefer her to go by Rosamund but if people want to shorten it, I'd like to have some say (wishful thinking, I know). Can you think of any other nns that could possibly be used (other than Mundy which I think sounds hideous)?
