How do YOU pronounce Araceli?
I've heard the "celi" portion as cheli, seeli and celli.

ahr-ah-SELL-ee
because of the words the name is made of, and the origins, I would pronounce it:
ar-uh-CHELL-ee or
ar-uh-KELL-ee.
my mom and I have this great debate going on about caeli (the celi part of the name) being "kellee" or "chellee". (one is classical, the other is ecclesiastical/church).
ar-uh-CHELL-ee sounds prettier to me, but then again I am on the church latin side of the debate.

As if something is reminiscent of a cell.

I've only heard it pronounced ah-rah-SEL-ee, but when I see it my first instinct is air-uh-CHEL-ee

I had an Araceli in my class one time; she pronounced it ar-ah-CELL-ee. So that's how I've pronouced it ever since.
