Cait does look incomplete, imo, and doesn't sound very good with a one syllable ln either. :-/ No matter how you spell it, it'll still sound like KATE and people don't spell out their kid's names on the playground, so when you're calling her or when she's in a classroom, she may still be one of many despite the 'different' spelling.
