Wdyt of the fn Emerald? Do you think that if you were to use it, would you use it as a fn or a mn? Can you think of any other nns besides Emma or Emmy? I'm getting kind of tired of hearing them. Here are some combos that I've come up with, let me know if you have any others :)

I would rather see Esmeralda than Emerald. It seems sort of flouncy and childish to me (maybe it's my Wizard of Oz association). Esmeralda also has cuter NN like Esme, Mera, Alda (hehe).
Wit has truth in it; wisecracking is simply calisthenics with words.

Emerald is a pretty name. I don't think that it needs a nn, but Emrie would be cute. Emerald Kate is my favorite out of your combos (followed by Emerald Lila). I prefer Lila Emerald to Emerald Lila though. It has a better flow.Emerald Grace

I this Emerald is really pretty, and I've been liking this name more and more lately! I like it as a middle name more, if I was to use it as a first name I'd probably use the nickname Emmy becuase I think it's adorable! I also know a little girl name Emerald May who is called Emmy and she's so cute!I love the combos Emerald Kate, Emerald Rose, and Emerald Lily! They are just so pretty! Emerald Rae
