I really like Galatea. It's pretty-sounding. Where did you find it? It's too foofy for me to consider it as a fn. It would be nice for someone else's child, though. As for Atalanta, I know it's a legit name and everything, but being from Atlanta, I can't get past that association. It's not a nice city by any means, and I think any name on a child that would make me think of that city of all cities is quite unfortunate. Even the sound to me isn't that appealing. It sounds like someone elaborating the name of the city, and I have known some people to add in that extra syllable & pronounce Atlanta and Atalanta the same (they obviously weren't from the city, haha, everyone who lives there seems to say "Adlanna").
