[Opinions] Re: French names of people in French at school
Marthe- Is this like Martha with no A? Nms.
Janine- I don't like it much. It doesn't sound very French, either.
Aurore Éloise - me; next year I plan to add Cécile. It would be lovely if only I could say Aurore right.
Olivier Loïc- Interesting. Nice.
Damien Elise- Is this a girl? Probably is.Damien on a girl is extremely nms. So is Elise on a boy, but I doubt it is.
Jean-Claude- Nice.
Bernadette Danger- "Danger is my French middle name." *shakes head*
Sophie- Fine. It's my grandmother's name, otherwise I'd probably hate it.
Liliane- Better than Liliana, at least.
Aimée- Uck. I much prefer Amy (but it isn't French...)
Mireille Bianca- culture-clashing combo.
Chloe Solange- Solange is interesting.
Danielle Laure- Fine.
Angeline- I like it.
Albert- Like it a lot too. It's my grandfather's name, otherwise I'd probably like it less, dittoing Sophie.
Robert- meh.
Elle (I think she may have changed her name, though, because of the whole "elle being a pronoun in French" thing)- she might have. The name's fine in English, though.
Zoé- meh.
Nadine- It was on the list someone posted on the Facts board of criminal names.
Adeline- Nice, I prefer Adele, though.
Pierre- I don't like it that much.
Nathalie- ick.
Véronique Arielle- Nice. Interesting.
Marie- Love it as a first name.
Manon Giselle- I don't like Manon.
Antoinette- Marie.
Pascale & Pascal- Blaise.
Rachel- meh.
Henri- nice.
Rosette- Rosetta Stone.
Thierry- I love Terry...
Jolie-Selene- Jolie- Angelina, but Selene is nice.
Simone- ugh, I hate it.
Lisette- mm, nice.
Marcel- Nice.
Richard Christophe- I don't like Richard.
Noël- ugh.
Charlie- French? Huh?
Anne-Marie- Fine.
Odette- Swan Lake. And I like it, so it's fine.
Benoît- ugh.
Gwenevère Aurora- Guinivere. Spell it right.
Lucas- ugh. Something bothers me about it.

If you want to spell Gwenevere "right", it's actually Guinevere.
