It's so popular that I'm not too keen on it anymore, but it's still quite refreshing when spelled properly after all the Katelyns and Kaitlyns I've seen. Caitlin is a pretty name.

Caitlin Isabelle is a lovely combo, even though I'm a bit tired of both names individually.

WDYT of this name? I think it's quite boring and overused, esp. when you factor in all the 'alternate' spellings. Actually, Caitlin is the only spelling I can even tolerate for this name.

It's considered "trendy" because it's so freakin' popular, and has been since the 90s. Yes, Caitlin was only #193 in the U.S. last year, but consider these numbers (for 2005):
