My cousin is named Faith, so I think of her rather than the TV show. I realize that the name started out as a reference to religion, but I don't think that the name sounds overly religious because you can have faith in something or someone without being religious. The word 'faith' actually means 'to trust'. Of course, being overly trusting isn't good, but a person should trust close friends and family members unless they are given a good reason not to. Sorry for rambling.
