there is no contest for me. Sebastian wins. if my husband didn't grow up with a Sebastian it would be a contender for me. I love Sebastian and think Seb is a cool nn.
Jasper reminds me of the word sarsparilla and Casper the friendly ghost.
Jasper does have a cool meaning, though. but still not enough to sway me.

Tough call
Jasper is a lovely name and it has the potential to suit anyone. Sebastian, on the other hand, has a huge amount of sentimental connections to me. For pity's sake, I'll choose Sebastian.
