I know someone who would like to name their daughter Lucy, but there is a reason they can't. So I just wondered what girls' names do you think are in the style of Lucy (and Anthony, their son)? I thought Maria might be good, but what do you think?

To me, Lucy is a classic that everyone is familiar with yet is quirky enough to still be interesting. Other names that I think fall into that same category:Alice
Eleanor
Betsy (alone or as a nn for Elizabeth)
Frances
Francine
Jane
Maggie (alone or as a nn for Margaret)
Molly (alone or as a nn for Mary)
SusannaMaria is a beautiful name too. I love it.

Maria also seems to me to be in the same style as Lucy. It's very pretty but short and uncomplicated. I might also suggest:Dinah

RosemaryAlso, I have a sister named Lucy and my name and my other sister's name are Catherine and Caroline, so I guess these names would be a similar style to Lucy..Catherine Ann Genevieve.

Maria is in that style...how about Ann, or Claire, Mary, Rose, Jane, Bonnie, Anna, Eloise, Eleanor, Filly, Helen, Harriet, Irene, Katelyn, Karen, Louise, Lilac, Melissa, Missy, Pippa, Renae, Sara, Selina, Tara, Valerie and Willa...WDYT?
