[Opinions] Re: Eugene?
in reply to a message by molly
My internet connection sucks, so after a long post, I lost it all. Anyway, long story short: I had a great-uncle who passed away almost 7 years ago named Eugene nn Gene. He was one of the greatest men I have ever met. Eugene doesnt hold my attention on its own, but that connection alone makes me put it at the top of almost any list. Eugene may sound a little old-man-ish, but with the nn Gene, I personally love it. I would use it for my first born in a heartbeat, but my boyfriend doesnt like it at all...so the only way I can fight him on it is if its around his birthday or death (maybe I'll just make myself pregnant so nine months later is perfect timing).Anyway, if you are worried about the name being old-man-ish, you could pair it with something more trendy, popular today. Otherwise, there are a lot of mn possiblities. I am pretty horrible with combos usually but here is what popped into mind:Eugene Avery
Eugene Anthony
Eugene Blair
Eugene Clarence
Eugene Brooks
Eugene Daniel
Eugene Emery
Eugene Isaac
Eugene Logan
Eugene Randall~~Kris~~
