Well .. to make a CAF, there's a few different things you can do. Usually, you give the players a set up like this one:

DH:
DW:

---

DD:
DS:
DD/DD:
DS:

---

Or something like that. You can make as many or as little children as you want.

Then, you have to give them some names to choose from, or a list of names. For example:

Girls namebank: about 20-30 names here.

---

Boys namebank: 20-30 names here.

---

In the namebank, you can use whatever names you like. Sometimes, people will do Modern or Creative CAFs, or Italian, anything you like. The players have to choose first and middle names from the list to name their DH/DW/kids. Sometimes the creator will judge. It's fun to see what people come up with.

Sometimes, the creator will give certain names to choose from for certain people. Example:

DH: Allen Thomas Christopher James Robert Timothy Dean
and the players have to choose a first and middle name from the names above.

To play a CAF, you basically just do what I said above. Pick your favorite names the person has given and use them to create a family.
