Well a suggestion is given in this page's archive:LOIS (f) "good" or "desirable" (Greek). Lois is mentioned in the New Testament as the mother of Eunice and the grandmother of Timothy.Perhaps you wonder where in the bibel Lois is mentioned.
Here is the answer to that:When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
