There's an actress named Melora Hardin (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002124/ - she's currently on "The Office"), but that's the only time I've heard the name. Seems made-up, though I'm not sure. It's not horrible, though. ETA: Apparently there's also an actress named Melora Walters, and in the trivia section of her imdb.com page (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001828/bio), it says the name Melora is Yoruban for "fellowship". Not sure how accurate that is but...ok.
