I don't care for it. It's too close to the word "daring" for my liking plus I have a bad association with this name.

It's ok, but was very popular here in the 80s so seems a bit dated to me.

I like Darren.

It's okay I suppose.

I really think it is a fine name. However, it will always make me think of my friend Derek whom everyone called Darren, so I only think of it as a goofy nickname unless I really stop and ponder it.

I like Darren a lot, but I could probably never use it because of a very, very, very strange English teacher I had in 7th grade. He's like a legend... a really weird legend... where I live, so it would be practically evil to name my kid that.
