[Facts] ancient roman pronounciation
I was browsing the ancient roman names and I noticed that only some of the entries show how the name is pronounced. It would be nice if all the names have a pronounciation line. I was wondering why they did not?

I'm just guessing but it's probably because the correct pronounciation isn't known by the owner of the site. I'm sure he would rather refrain from putting a pronounciation he was not sure about than take a wild stab and put it anyway, quite possibly mis-informing (sp?) us all.

Also, there is disagreement among experts about exact pronunciation of Latin by ancient Romans; and it may have been different at different periods. Always check the comments on an entry, too, because some Latin scholar might've put an opinion about pronunciation there.

It's a newer feature - names that are older are less likely to have it, while new names most likely will.
