Patricia still has a really dated feel for me. I think I would prefer Patrice, even though it is technically a male name. Patricia has the problem of inevitably being called Pat at some point, which is just boring (Unless she goes by Patsy). Even people who insist on being called Michael, James, or Lawrence, invariably end up being Mike, Jim, and Larry to some people.

I don't think Patricia is awful, but I stack it onto the pile with Linda, Diane, Debbie, Denise and Sue - basically all names of people who are now in their late forties to fifties.
