[Opinions] Re: Ariel

Ariel is definitely still a male name in Hispanic culture, as well as in Israel. In many non-Hispanic neighborhoods in the USA, it will be primarily thought of as feminine and may well lead to some teasing. However, contrary to popular belief, such teasing is not a major negative influence on a boy's development, and IF parents arm their son with information to help him overcome this, such as the facts about the many male Ariels that have existed in the past, I think it's fine for it to be given to a boy.
