I dont like it, to me Summer is a season name not a persons name, however I know three little girls under the age of seven who have this as a name though one spells it Sumer

Does she prn it differently? Is it a place name / historical reference in her case, I wonder?

Not sure, the child is at school with my children but I dont really know her or her parents very well.
