[Opinions] Baruch
I've really liked Baruch for a while now, but I've finally decided that I like it as a fn. I like the meaning, and it just seems like a very strong, male name imo. What do you think of Baruch as a fn? What mns would you pair with it?Thanks! =)

Baruch atah Adonai elohanu melech ha'olam....I personally dont like it as a name, its always been a word in Hebrew for me. The only time i would use it is as a Hebrew name (Jews have two names: normal name (as mine is: Rachel Cara) and a Hebrew name (Mine is Ceril Hannah phn SER-il Hah-nuh).

I love Baruch (bah-rookh for me). I wouldn't use it because I have other names I prefer, though.

It's definitely strong and manly. Whenever I hear it, I just want to follow it up with Adonai, lol. And I'm not even Jewish, I guess I've just attended a lot of bar and bat mitzvahs.I think it sounds best with OT names. How about...
Baruch Elias
Baruch Jonas
Baruch Phineas
Baruch Thaddeus
Baruch Silas
Baruch Simon
Baruch Simeon
Baruch Azariah
Baruch Ezra
Baruch Zachariah
Baruch Zephaniah
Baruch Abijah
Baruch Micaiah
Baruch Michael
Baruch Nathanael
Baruch Raphael
Baruch Abishai
Baruch Absalom
Baruch Abraham

Baruch is not exactly my style, but it is fine. It just reminds me of my old religion teacher and she always said Baruch (a book in the Christian Bible) in a very weird way.Baruch Daniel would be a cute combo.

This name is not my style. However it is not terrible either. I like the hebrew meaning of it "Blessed" also I seen there were two ways to pronounce it:
be-rook
BER-ook
I like the BER-ook pronunciation better. Although it makes me think Brute. But if your looking for a really strong name I guess Brute wouldn't matter than right lol :)
But thats just my opinion. So I wouldn't personally use it. But I don't think its terrible. :)
