I like it much better than Magdalena, but I slightly prefer the Italian version (Maddalena).

It's okayI think I would prefer Madelena, just because the pronunciation would seem more clear to me. Really I prefer the orthodox Magdalene, but Madalena / Madelena is pretty too.

It seems to me like it wants to be either Magdalena or Madeline. As is, it just seems lacking, sorry.

my husband has a cousin.......named Madalena. always called Mado. Lives in Switzerland.
