[Opinions] Winnie (and more)
First - I was talking to my boyfriend, and I thought of Winnie (his ln is Winkowski, and I was goofing around), but the more I think of it, the more I like it for a girl. I was wondering if it would be *weird* to nn a child through your last name (I know kids, especially boys do this in school, but I mean as a family/parent). For instant, I know a guy with the ln Osbourn, but he always goes by Oz or Ozzy. His family didnt give him that nn though, so would it be weird for us to give her the nn? I really dont like Winifred and cant think of any other first name it could be a nn for. Also, here are some combos. Even though the fn's are common and popular, I will explain that no nn is to be used - that is until I hear from him he wants to be called by a nn insteand. How many *insert common name here* go by their full name, and not a common nn?The MN are more spunky to give the combo some flavor and not keep it so plain. I took the names directly off my list of approved FN and MN, so hubby at least likes them enough not to cross them off. Mix and Match if you want (but please keep FN as FNs and MN as MNs)Benjamin Ezra (Benji if anythin)
Daniel Ambrose
Elijah Xavier (MAYBE Eli)
Jason Donovan
Miles Octavian (one hubby and I have talked about, intails are MOW, so we thought nn Mo would be cute)
Thomas Nikolai
William Emmett (Another he already approved of)
Zachary Logan
