I'm not crazy about the prn. of Viivi, as Soul posted it. But I do love Vivi, pronounced VIV-ee, as a nn for Vivian, Vivienne, or even Genevieve.

VIH-vee. Like Vivian with the an.

It's pronounced VEE-vih.

I post Vivian a lot as a mn, because it goes well with a lot of names. Would not be my choice for a first name though, not that I don't like it.

With the two i's, I'd be inclined to prn Viivi as VEE-vee, whereas I'm more likely to prn Vivi as VIH-vee.

I would use Vivi as a nn for Vivian and pronounce it vih-vee. As far as Viivi goes, I don't know Finnish so I'm not sure.

I think sometimes when we start liking a name we notice it more, and feel like we see it more often even though really it was always there. I haven't noticed a big increase in the number of Vivian appearances. I do feel like I see a couple of MY favorites a lot more than I used to though!

I would pronunce it Vee-vee, I do like Viva as a nn for Vivian but I really like Vivi.

In Finnish, Viivi is pronounced VEE-vee. I like Vivian, but I dislike Viva as a nickname.
