I agree with you--sophisticated, strong, and feminine are the words that come to mind with me for feminine versions of 'George' in general. I tend to like them with "E" middle names, like:

Georgiana Elizabeth
Georgiana Elaine
Georgiana Elodie or Elodia
Georgiana Eulalie
Georgiana Emmaline
Georgiana Emmanuelle
Georgiana Eleanor
Georgiana Edmonda
Georgiana Eveline
