[Facts] any more info on Arvilla?
Has anyone turned up any more info on the origin of the name Arvilla? I noticed an old post about it but nothing current... My grandmother's name was Arvilla and her ethnic background was Norweigian & Irish, but I never learned where her name came from.

Thank you so much Menke and Andy... this is the first information I've ever found regarding my grandmother's name (which is also my middle name.)

Checking google seems kind of tiring … Maybe Menke can make a try.
If it is of Germanic origin, its elements could beAR (eagle) and WILL (will).Andy ;—)
