It's not a stretch or anything, but I personally don't really like Jay and definitely not J.P. They're both so impersonal, unoriginal, and cold. I'd rather use Joey, Quim, Kim, Jim, Joke, Jocke, or anything else than Jay which could be derived from any other J name.
