I say go for it, I think it's a great idea. I have a thing for geographical names, and the war association, for me, is more of a "positive war association". Which sounds kind of awful but I mean, the war may have been horrible but she was there to _help_, you know? White as a maiden, brave as an eagle, or however the lyrics go. :-) I like the general sound of it as well, but I pronounce it yut-LAND-ee-ah, that's how it's said here. Which reminds me - when I was little, I planned to name all my future daughters after the Stena Line ships.
Danica, Germanica, Jutlandica, Britannica etc. :-D
