[Opinions] Re: Bronwen and Winifred (thanks to Isla)
I've known a few Bronwen/Bronwyn 's. They've all been girls, even those who spelled it Bronwyn (wyn is a male welsh suffix, i'm told). One was a little thing, 5 foot nothing, perfect ringlet curls, spunky, athletic and a gymnast, very popular, pretty and funny. (She was about 16 when I knew her).Another was tall and thin, soft spoken, smart, a ballet dancer. All have been pale with brown hair. Generally I have good associations with the name.I don't care for Winifred at all!
