At any rate, Danaë is never properly pronounced DAN-ay or dan-AY or anything else like that.
Ginevra is jin-NEV-ra, I believe.
I like both names, but Ginevra might become more popular due to Harry Potter (Ginny Weasley's full fn is Ginevra, not Virginia, as J.K. Rowling herself revealed on her official site).
