Message: "Rasmus and Liesel"

I need your opinions on these two names, Rasmus and Liesel. It seems I started to like German and Scandinavian names.

I love Rasmus (but surprisingly doesn't like Erasmus) both for the sound and the meaning.

And Liesel (and Liesa and Lise) are all very pretty imho!

Can you think of combos and sibsets for these names?

I don't care for Rasmus sorry - it sounds old and grumpy to me somehow!

But I absolutely *adore* Liesel, athough I prefer it spelled Liesl, and Liesa and Lise / Liese. I can't use any of them because my cousin Karl married a Lisa, which is too similar. *sigh*

Rasmus is nmsaa, and I think Liesel is really nice, but I don't know exactly how to pronunce it. How do you pronunce Liesel?

I'm not sure, but my guess is Lee-sel. I'm not sure about German stresses.

I like Rasmus, its a nice alternate to David since they have the same meaning. I also like Liesel but it makes me think of a tv presenter David Koch, who has a thing for the sound of music.
