I was looking through my local paper today when I saw a story that mentioned someone I used to know she has a 14 year old daughter called Phred yes it is pronounced the same as Fred
My Mum laughed and said that she recalls saying to the woman at the time, you cant call a girl Fred and the reply she got was oh its not spelt the same as Fred as if that made any difference - rolls ones eyes
