Think: Blah blah blah... I hate both of these names. I wonder if she was named after Chelsea Clinton...or Chelsea, MA?

Think: UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Melanie is one of my least favorite names EVER! It reminds me of melanoma! And Gay is just unfortunate in this day and age.

To answer the questions:
I am NOT named after Chelsea Clinton, but I get that question a lot. I am 20 and from Illinois so my parents had no idea who she even was when I was born. My mom got my name from Jane Fonda's character in On Golden Pond.
My brother absolutely hates the nn Dave.
Luke is not short for anything...just Luke.
Gay was not an unfortunate name when my mom was born.
