[Facts] Aoife and Eva
Hi,Aoife is an Irish gaelic name that is pronounced like EE-fa. Because of the similarity to the name Eva, it was often anglicized Eva and Eve. However, it really has no connection to the biblical name Eva other than sound. Eve/Eva is a form of the Hebrew name Chava, which is derived from the Hevrew word for "life." Aoife is derived from an Irish word meaning "beautiful; radiant." It was also the name of a Celtic goddess. If you want more info on Irish names, you can visit my web site!:
