Yawn. Indistinguishable from the hordes of other kids named Ryan and Sophie, sorry. I'm very tired of both names.

interesting responces. they are actually my childrens names, but was interested to see what ppl thought of them! u know, intrigue and all that!decided on ryan as it means little king and my husbands name means king. and sophie because ive loved this name since i was little...shame its so popular now, but just shows how lovely it is! although have to say...i wanted sophia but hubby said NO lol!anyway, thanks for your opinions!

I think they work really well as sibling names. I like both of them.

I think they sound nice together, and I like Sophie, but definitely prefer Sophia, nn. Sophie, so that she's not stuck with a cutesy nn all her life.
I don't think I would call them "distinguished" though, as both are rather common, at least here.

Is Ryan for a boy or girl? I much prefer it for a boy, although overused.Sophie is common where I live, but gorgeous. I don't think it makes a very good sib set, as Ryan is modern and now while Sophie is a little more dignified.

It's an ok combo. They are both soft sounding, which helps them go together.
I personally like Ian and Sophie together.

I love the name Sophie, but am not crazy about Ryan.I woild rather see Sofia "Sofie" and Brian.
