Enzo.
Some Italian friends of mine just had a baby boy and named him Enzo. With an Italian middle and last name.
I love it. What do you guys think?
If the baby was a girl, she would have been call Ciara.

I prefer Vincenzo and Lorenzo, Enzo looks a bit nicknamey to me, though I know it exists in its own right.

Are you sure it would have been Ciara? That's pronounced CHAH-rah in Italian. Chiara seems more likely.I don't like Enzo as it's too product-like for me. Ciara (KYAH-rah) is sweet, and Chiara is alright.

I love Enzo! But I like it best as a nickname for Vincenzo.

I like Enzo, but would prefer it as a nn for Lorenzo. What is the baby's middle name? or are you not allowed to say?

I only think of that Sienfeld episode when he gets a horrible haircut and they watch edward scissorhands.I have a good friend whose name is Ciara (pronounced like Kira)and everyone is always calling her (KEE-ar-a) or (SEE-ar-a) it gets annoying and I can't even tell which way you want it to be pronounced on this post.

Concerning CiaraI know what you mean about the name Ciara. The one at my school with that spelling pronounces it key-air-ah. But since it starts with a C, everybody tries to say see-air-ah. Of course there's also Kiara (key-air-ah) and Kiyara (key-YAR-ah). But I go to a predominantly black school so that may affect the way things are pronounced. (By the way, Ciara is the white girl if you're wondering.)
