WDYT of Marielle? It's not even in the top 1000 for the SSA. I adore it.

Names that I like that I could see Elle coming from, some more of a stretch than others, include:Emmanuelle
Nigella
Marcelle / Marcella / Marcelline
Marielle, Mariel
Joelle (I'm partial to this one as it's the name of a close friend, not because it's really a name I'm into)
Noelle (one of those names I don't mind for other people)
Elita (not a favorite of mine though Ileta is, but Elle for Ileta doesn't make much sense!)
Carmella
Maelle (I have a female friend Mael, pr. may-EL)
Camellia
Celestine (a bit of a stretch but oh well, I can see it happening)
Elodie, Elodia
Llewella (if you're into that o_O)
Michaela (I'm thinking the German pronunciation)

Thanks for the list. Which of them are really yours?I didn't want a list. I want a full name you like and you'd use. Would you call your child Elikapeka?

"I didn't want a list. I want a full name you like and you'd use"Then try saying that next time, and in the meantime, don't be rude. You asked for names, she gave them. Period.

You asked for...a formal and full name for Elle. So I gave you a list from Behind the Name. No I wouldn't call my child Elikapeka, but you might.
Only trying to help, no need to be sarcastic.
